IBCF Research & Training Academy arranged a two day training Program on “Shariah Issues and Compliance in Islamic Banking: Global & National perspective” held on 2-3 February, 2019 at BAB office Gulshan Dhaka. Mr. A K M Nurul Fazal Bulbul, Vice Chairman, IBCF and CDBL presided over the certificate awarding ceremony.
Prof. Kamaluddin Abdullah Zafree, Chairman, Central Shariah Board of Islamic Banks distributed certificates among the participants as Chief Guest while Mr. Muhammed Shahidul Islam, Managing Director and CEO attended as special guest.
The Chief Guest Prof. Kamaluddin Abdullah Zafree in his speech emphasized there is no alternative acquiring knowledge of shariah compliance.
The key resource persons of the training program were Mr. M Azizul Huq, Chairman, Audit Committee, Pubali Bnak Ltd., Mr. Md. Fariduddin Ahmed, Independent Director, ICB Islamic Bank Ltd., Mufti Dr. Mohammed Abdulla and four another Shari´ah expert bankers.
24 (twenty four) mid level executives of 9 (nine) Islamic Banks and Banks having Islamic Banking Branch & windows took part in the training program.
