A Combined meeting of the existing members of the Executive committee and the Task Committee of Islamic Banks Consultative Forum (IBCF) was held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 in the Board Room of Al Arafah Islami Bank PLC. Head office.

During the meeting, among others, it was decided to prepare a report. Proposition on the issue of excise duty on investment under Islamic modes for onward submission to National Board of Revenue (NBR) Authorities
The meeting also finalized the dates for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) of IBCF to adopt some amendments on the exiting Memorandum of Association and Article of Association and reconstitution of the Executive Committee.
